Alistair Fawcett

Co-Founder, Shareholder

DIP.FD, MBIE, MBIFD

Alistair is the Co-founder of the business, He alongside David Hetherington (Pip) started the company back in 1993. He has been a qualified Funeral Director and Embalmer since 1988.
Whilst Alistair is still the owner of the business he is now enjoying a well earned retirement, walking the into Stokesley speaking to everyone who knows him, he also loves a good cuppa and a crossword puzzle.

 
Pauline Fawcett

Shareholder

Pauline is Alistair's Wife and started working for the company in the very beginning back in 1993 in the South Bank office as the office manager and is now company director alongside Alistair.
Pauline retired in April 2022 and is enjoying her well earned break with Alistair. She is doing more reading, gardening and lunching with the ladies in her spare time!!


Terry Fawcett

Company Director and Funeral Director

DipFD, FCFS, MBIFD, MSBP

Terry is Alistair and Pauline's eldest son and he has worked for the company since April 2004 when David Hetherington retired. He has been a qualified Funeral Director since 2007.

When not at work Terry likes to spend time at the riverside watching the "Boro" matches, making wood-turned gifts and enjoys gaming and anything "gadgety".


Andrew Fawcett

Company Director, Embalmer and Funeral Director

DipFD, DipFAA, MBIE, MBIFD, MSBP

Andrew is Alistair and Pauline's youngest son and has been with the company since September 2008. He qualified as an Embalmer in August 2015 and has been conducting funerals since 2013, he passed his diploma in Funeral Directing in June 2021.

In his spare time Andy loves the "Boro" and sees himself as a bit of a "Jose" as he coaches a local grassroots football team and pan-disability football team for local children with various health conditions


Ben Gowland

Assistant Funeral Director

Ben used to be one of our lovely Ceremonial Drivers, he started back in January 2019 driving our vehicles before also joining our On Call Team to look after your loved ones in their time of need. 

Ben has a lot of experience on funerals and already knew part of the job so his natural progression was to join as a full time Trainee Funeral Director which he did back in 2023.
Ben became a Funeral Service Operative in 2024 and is now undertaking his Funeral Arranging and Administrating course before going on to complete his Funeral Directing qualification.

Ben enjoys to play the piano and is a keen gamer. He loves spending time with his family.

    
Joanne Magennis

Funeral Service Administrator

BA

Joanne is Terry's wife and started working for the company in August 2011. She works within the office looking after families and helping with any funeral or monumental enquiries. 
Joanne is also qualified in Level 2 British Sign language.

Joanne loves nothing more than a cuddle with her gorgeous cats however she also loves to do crafting and is a dab hand at cross stitch, her amazing work can be seen within our building (one piece even took her 2 years to complete)

            

Aaron Taylor

Funeral Service Administrator and Prepayment Consultant

Aaron is Andrews eldest son and joined our administration team in April 2022 when Pauline retired.

He has since taken on more of a roll within the business in joining the out of hours team to look after your loved ones when the office is closed and is our prepayment consultant, giving people all the information needed for them to decide their own funeral requirements.

Aaron loves to go out with friends, attend "Boro" Matches and also helps manages a local grassroots football team. Aaron is going to be a father to a son in June 2025, he is already a step-father to a beautiful little girl. Who knows they could be our 4th generation of the business.

Danielle Fawcett

Funeral Service Administrator and Funeral Services Operative

Danielle is Andrews wife and started with the company back in January 2014, after getting married in June 2013 and they had a son together in August 2014.

Danielle has a level 3 NVQ in Business and Administration and qualified as a Funeral Service Operative in January 2022. Danielle works in the office, as part of the out of hours team and helps with the "behind the scenes" work too, some could say she is a jack of all trades.

Danielle helps Andy with his Pan-disability football team and also has a volunteer role in the community in helping to try and make the area as safe as possible which she has done since 2019. She is a self confessed sun worshipper also loves going on as many holidays as possible.

     
      Dave Green

          Workshop and Fleet Manager

Dave is Pauline's brother-in-law and started working for the company in 2012.
He is in charge of our coffin workshop, where he fits the coffins ready for use and does the ordering of everyday goods and equipment so that we are always stocked up.
He also maintains the company's fleet making sure it is kept to a high standard.

Dave loves a ramble in the countryside on a weekend and enjoys a "good" bottle of Red with Sunday Lunch.
